10:30 AM – Arrival at the Wenchi caldera rim. Begin the 4-kilometer trek down into the crater crater floor (available on foot or via local guide-led horses).
12:00 PM – Reach the lake shore. Take a traditional wooden boat across the volcanic waters to explore the ancient island monastery of Kirkos.
01:30 PM – Lakeside picnic lunch followed by a brief hike through the valley to see the natural hot springs and traditional watermills.
